About me

Nikita Patel (she/her)

I view each session as an opportunity to reduce pain, tension and stress. Supporting people to reconnect with their body, deeply relax and practise better self care.

My aim as a massage therapist is to craft a calm, comfortable environment, with professionalism, respect, and a deep commitment to my clients' well-being. I am committed to offering a caring, supportive presence that makes people feel truly heard and understood, whilst adapting each treatment to your individual needs.

After growing up in Yorkshire I began studying massage therapies at Leeds. I then went on to study sports massage to continue my development as a therapist.

I am passionate about promoting holistic well-being, providing a high quality of service and constantly improving my skills.

The mind-body connection is a well studied subject and the two are deeply intertwined. Massage can not only soothe your body but your mind too.

With a love for movement and sports, I have come to realise how beneficial massage has been for me and how much it can help others too.

My practice is rooted in providing a safe, respectful, and affirming space for all clients. I will always prioritise your comfort, autonomy, and boundaries. I also aim to create an inclusive, welcoming space where trans bodies are in safe hands.

My Room at Blue Frog Therapies

Soft lighting, natural wood and calming colours, the room is designed to enable and encourage each person to let go and unwind.

I use heated beds, essential oils and soft music with deep relaxation in mind.

Security and assurance are priority too, with door access for clients only.  The door has a keypad with a 4 digit code that will automatically unlock the door and you can simply push to enter the space, reassured you will not be disturbed during your visit.  Once you have entered, the door will automatically lock again. Your reminder email and texts will have your code so it is always close at hand.

Parking

Parking is available at three nearby car parks, a few minutes walk from the therapy rooms. Of the three (Marygate, Clarence Street, and Bootham Row), Marygate is the largest with a reduced evening rate and pay on exit so staying longer than intended couldn’t be more simple. There is also a place to lock cycles in Millers Yard
